I’d probably say the pen…People say that the written word can be a very powerful weapon and they’re right. Words can make and break people, can change lives, destroy them, inspire them… words can do so much and the written word’s effects can last for generations, preserved on paper… or stone (…or something of that kind) forever. It’s funny really to think that something so seemingly insignficant could hold so much power which, I guess, is why I’d probably choose the pen as my favourite inanimate object… because behind seemingly insignificant things, often lies the greatest strength that man can posess… intelligence.
